PRODUCT OVERVIEW
2.5'' small Dalek figures. Poseable head dome, eyestalk, gun and manipulator arm. They use 'pull-back and go' action, so can be pulled back along a surface and released to watch them trundle along. They were really the first properly accurate Dalek toys ever released. DETAILS Released in waves, these Daleks come in 11 different colours, but all feature the same basic shape; some colours are also found on the 6.5'' Talking versions. COLLECTING Released in clear blister packs – prepackaged sets of three, meaning you might have to buy more than one duplicate in order to get them all. Do not feature electronic speech; otherwise are exactly the same as the talking micro Daleks, and fit in nicely alongside them. Some colour schemes of the 2.5'' Daleks are exclusive to one type however - eg. the red/blue saucer pilot Micro Talking Dalek isn't available as a roll-a-matic. WAVE 1 (May 2002) Sets comprised of three Daleks, usually with two in one colour and a third a different colour. SET 1 - 2x light-grey/black Daleks with grey slats + 1x black/silver supreme Dalek (Remembrance of the Daleks) SET 2 - 2x grey/black Daleks + 1x gold/black supreme Dalek (Day of the Daleks) SET 3 - 3x white/gold Daleks (Remembrance of the Daleks) SET 4 - 2x silver/blue Daleks + 1x silver/blue Dalek with black dome (Evil of the Daleks) WAVE 2 (July 2003) SET 5 - 2x red/silver Daleks (non-TV design) + 1x gold/black supreme Dalek (Day of the Daleks) SET 6 - 2x silver/black Daleks (Death to the Daleks) + 1x silver/blue Dalek (Evil of the Daleks) SET 7 - 2x light-grey/black Daleks with black slats + 1x black/white supreme Dalek (Ressurection of the Daleks) SET 8 - 2x gold/black supreme Daleks (Day of the Daleks) + 1x black/gold supreme Dalek (non-TV design) Below: a selection of images of roll-a-matic Daleks for reference. The 'all new' advertisement picture released by PE is actually wrong; sets 2 and 4 were not released like that. Note the advertisement for RC Daleks on the back of the packet. |
